This project is a strong example of how a simple stairwell can be transformed into a design focal point. Located in a modern home in Chicago, this vertical wall space provided the perfect canvas for a bold architectural statement.

We designed and installed a custom board and batten wall featuring an abstract geometric layout. The combination of diagonal, vertical, and horizontal trim boards creates movement and symmetry across the entire height of the stairway. The wall was painted in a deep navy blue that stands out against the surrounding neutral palette, adding contrast and sophistication.
